Chateau Hohenlohe
Near the village of Tataranská Javorina, surrounded by wild forest and vast meadows, stands the beautiful Hohenlohe Hunting Lodge. The wooden chateau was built between 1883 and 1885 by the Prussian prince Christian Craft Hohenlohe-Öhringen. Since 2004 it has been used by the presidents of the Slovak Republic for representative purposes. The hunting lodge is thus in the administration of the Office of the President of the Slovak Republic. During its history, it has hosted several foreign presidents for formal and informal meetings.

Visitors can admire much of the original equipment in the mansion, including a rare telescope by the Munich optician Jacob Merz, numerous hunting trophies, weapons, photographs, paintings and a gong used to summon social events.
