In 1879, the Crown Prince, a Prussian general and chief valet of the German Emperor became the owner of one of the most valuable parts of the High Tatras - the Javorina estate. The blue-blooded landowner settled permanently with the love of his life, Otília, in a newly built wooden hunting lodge in Tatranská Javorina, and Hohenlohe took care of his hunting grounds with the utmost seriousness and precision, and was duly proud of them.
